Frigatebirds flying over San Cristobal

What We Do

Projects Galapagos protects San Cristobal through conservation action, education, and partnerships that keep wildlife and communities thriving.

The main objectives of Projects Galapagos

Projects Galapagos was set up with two main objectives that guide our daily work across San Cristobal Island.

  • Protect the Galapagos Islands and educate the local population through programs in our Community Centre and local schools.
  • Work hands-on with the Galapagos National Park to control and protect wildlife in this World Natural Heritage Site.

Projects Galapagos mission

Projects Galapagos Association was established to make San Cristobal a beacon for conservation and education. We focus on the island, its community, and the flora and fauna that are unique to this region, supporting the development of the Galapagos Islands' resources and natural treasures.
