The people who make all of this possible…

William Puga Vasquez

Born on San Cristobal, William has worked with volunteers for more than 30 years and previously served as a Galapagos National Park ranger. As director of Projects Galapagos, he has also been a two-term town councillor and has led government and community projects to improve local education.

Jose Luis Criollo

Jose Luis joined in 2016 as deputy coordinator for conservation. With a background in tourism and hospitality, he now focuses on environmental conservation and brings a passion for land stewardship and farming.

Max Puga Cabezas

Max joined Projects Galapagos in 2019 as a conservation assistant supporting Jose Luis. He studies eco-tourism and contributes to fieldwork and volunteer coordination.
